How far have we come on designing effective, intuitive, intelligent web forms? I'm researching forms design, both best practice and the more innovative ones. But I'm having a hard time finding really good examples.
HiOscar the insurance company is one example with some innovative qualities and certainly worth a study. But I'm searching for more advanced forms with higher complexity.
I'd like to know what your experiences are with creating a prototype by utilizing an engineer as much as possible during the process. Rather than having the designer produce the prototype, the engineer and the designer would work closely together to flesh out the prototype.
Any thoughts or tips? Is this something you have done before?
I have a quiz where people fill out 15+ questions to find out what kind of traveller they are. My client would like to ask them for their postal code, so that they can ultimately send people information and offers that are customized to their traveller type and location. They would also like the postal code to validate the geo segmentation research about the traveller type differences by location.
Quiz respondents are not asked for their full mailing address. They have an option to opt in to receive further information by providing an eMail address.
