What would you recommend for someone interested in getting started with interaction design, but who already has their bachelor's?
My plan was to make a website and gradually fill it through designing my own projects (or volunteering if I can find something nearby), but first I wanted to know if there was a better way of going about this.
If it's relevant, I have degrees in Cognitive Science and Studio Art, can teach myself programming languages, and have some experience with counseling and scientific research.
I'm 26. I dropped out of electronics engineering in my final year. After that i have worked in the field of Interface Design for 2 years.
With things evolving at the pace that we see, I feel there will be need to take a masters in interaction design course a few years down the line. But since i dropped out, i will need a bachelor's degree and i can't give up work for financial reasons.
This November 19-22, join Cooper, Canine Companions for Independence and design practitioners from around the world in this four day, immersive training in user experience design. With mentorship of our best teachers and active feedback from stakeholders at Canine Companions, you'll explore new ways to stimulate memory functions to facilitate communication between veterans and their service dog.
I just move to Berlin and I would like to start to explore what has to offer in IX and UX areas. I'm an HCI master student and I need to start to look for a place where to do an intership, and after that a Matser thesis with a company. Start ups could be as well an option.
So, I would like to hear some advices from someone of you who knows a little much better the Industry.
Or if someone know such a great Design firms or Companies in other European cities where could be worth it to do an internship, it will be great as well.
