New webinar: Understanding Modern Interaction Design

Are you faced with the challenge of making sure your product has a "modern" interface? This webinar will help you cut through the hype and focus on what's essential for design. You'll learn why we're in a new age of design, what core design principles make an interface "modern", and how to approach design from a new modern framework.

Second IxDA Student Chapter Meetup

The second IxDA student chapter meetup will happen on the 4th August, 2012 at the campus of National Institute of Design, R&D Campus.

The theme for the meetup is "Experience Design for Public Spaces"

India is a country which celebrates both the vast natural scapes and the cramped living spaces. Public spaces in India, therefore, become home to a lot of social interactions.

These spaces change colours everyday, and are used in myriad ways.

Curious about course interest in Amsterdam. What do you think?

Cooper Training courses have been a popular offering since they were first launched.  This September, Chris Noessel, one of our Practice Leads of Interaction Design, will be speaking at a conference there in Amsterdam. We're curious to know if there's enough interest in his hosting an Interaction Design Practicum class while he's there.

Looking for insight on graduate programs in Interaction Design

I have recently been looking into the possibility of interaction design as a career choice, and I was wondering what sort of graduate school programs would be open to me. I have been perusing the discussion boards, but it seems as though there aren't very many conversations about this in the past couple of years about it so I was wanting to get an updated perspective.
