Are you going to Interaction12 in Dublin?

Just a reminder that Interaction12 is on 1-4th February. It's the fifth edition, but the first one in Europe. So this time it's a short flight and jetlag-free for us, coming from The Netherlands.

ixd12 student design challenge - deadline extended

Dear IxDA list,

It's a tough time for students: in the northern hemisphere the semester is coming to an end, and in the south everyone's on summer break. We've had a lot of requests to extend the deadline for entries to the challenge, so today we're announcing that you have until midnight December 9 (Hawaii time) to get your entries in!

Remember: this stage is not about showing us some design you've already done.

No More VAT! Early-Bird Still Open! It's the Perfect Time to Register for Interaction12

We have some great news to share with you.

It's not often that a tax department gives anyone good news, but thanks to the persistent efforts of the Interaction12 Committee and Abbey Conference, we've just learned that Irish Revenue has decided that we no longer have to charge VAT on registrations for Interaction12.

This means the registration to Interaction12 is now 21% cheaper than before! Don't worry, if you've already booked, you'll be getting a refund for the VAT portion of your payment in the next couple of weeks.

Interaction12 Location: Consider Amsterdam

I read in the Board of Directors post that IxDA is in the process of selecting a location for Interaction 12. There was a list of locations under consideration, but I'd like to propose one I didn't see in the list: Amsterdam.
