What's your Personality Type? (Related to: NowHiring Leonardo DaVinci?)

The quick two:
- What is your type?

According to the test I just took, to which you linked, I'm an ENFP, about 2/3rds toward extrovert and hovering right around the middle on the other three axes.

I'm quite sure in the past, though, that I've come up an I, a T, and a J. I think I'm always an N. My problem with this system is that the questions are all dichotomies without context, sometimes false dichotomies, and I often could choose either answer.

Hello Everyone,

I am very curious about the personality types of designers, and the
recent conversation about multidisciplinary skill-sets prompted this
message to you.

I'd like to conduct an informal (and quite unscientific) survey about
the personality types on this list. I think it could shed light on
topics of interest to many of us, including another way to look at what
it is to be a Designer.

Let's use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator as common ground.

Greetings,

For the last 16 years, I've been a supportive member of the Greater Boston
Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (GBCACM). They are one
of the oldest chapters in the country and have a history of bringing great
educational programs at a very accessible cost.

This year, they are hosting a 2-day event called Deep AJAX on October 14 &
15 in Cambridge, MA. They've put together a great program that's a great
in-depth introduction to AJAX with some of the world's expert speakers.

Web 2.0 UX Benchmark: Please Help

Usable Products Company is exploring doing a US-based quantitative user
experience benchmark of Web 2.0 properties. This benchmark will be limited
to three sites in the same category for its first release. Our goal is to
inform our community and to at least break even on the investment.
Benchmarks provide invaluable information to designers and marketers, and
a point of comparison to determine usability improvements.

How to provide a usable Evaluation Kit?

Hello
I'm evaluating the evaluation kit of one of our products, i.e. what
customers will see before they buy the product.
This product already provides a tutorial. But an evaluation kit is not the
same thing as a tutorial.
So my question is: What an evaluation kit should provide? How deep can we go
in the explanations? Do all the procedures have to be described?

Do you know some guidelines to make an evaluation kit usable?

Now Hiring Leonardo DaVinci?

Bottom-line question: "As our rapidly increasing technology produces more
multi-powered individuals, are companies any more justified in trying to
hire artists who also code?"

I've always been fascinated by ads for someone who can do both graphic
design and, in his or her spare time "reengineer our world-wide network
topology" (loose allusion to an old Dilbert). Below is a reduced version of
the ad that prompted this. I particularly like the juxtaposition of "B/A
degree... illustration...Ajax...
