NEED NEW LOS ANGELES IxDA COORDINATOR ASAP!

Hello All,

RE: NEED NEW LOS ANGELES IxDA COORDINATOR ASAP!

I'm the current Los Angeles, California IxDA coordinator but I will be
moving to the Bay Area in a couple weeks. I have truly enjoyed being the
coordinator and am sad to give up this role.

This is a great opportunity to meet other IxD in the area and give back to
the community by organizing face-to-face meetings, etc.

Feel free to contact me via email or phone if you have any questions.

Thanks!
danna :)

Alternate way to line chart

Hello folks,

A while back, maybe at a conference, maybe a text book, I saw a way of
doing line charts that made them extremely easy to read. Even with a
heavy amount of data. It was something like doing away with the peaks
and instead accenting a different part of the line. Unfortunately, for
the life of me, I can't remember what the "trick" was. I don't think it
was a Tufte thing, at least I've looked through my trusty books and
haven't found anything...

Does anyone have any idea what I might have seen?

user centered design -> overlapping circles -> boundary selection -> platform strategies

Yes, this question was more about product definition than user interface
design. The user-interfaces would almost certainly quite different. Also, it
is not just a matter of two users A and B, but also C, D, E, etc. Using the
(hypothetical) example, the users would not just be Publishers and Authors,
but also Warehouse, Stores, Trucks, etc.

FW: Question related to "IKEA-manual".

### * Do you know any good web sites related to the subject? ###

Hi Johan,

Nigel Holmes' method is a good reference for trying to simplify complex
things in graphical depictions. Here are a couple links for you to look at:
