JOB: Design Manager, Interaction Designer, Visual Designer, and Prototyper at Yahoo! Sunnyvale CA

I currently have some key positions recently opened and am looking to flesh out my team with more interaction designers, visual designers, design managers and prototyping. The visual design and design manager postions are still being opened so I don't have actual links yet, but I wanted to cast the net anyway to see if folks might be interested. I've never been - looks very eye-candyish, but wanted to get a better
sense from folks who are NOT responsible for just visual design where
they work (but other aspects of design), on whether or not this is
worthwhile. Do you recommend it? Why?

Resources on web usability in Japan?

I have been asked to help redesign a suite of web products in Japan, and
though I know something about the language and culture, I know nothing
at all about web use and usability in Japan. Can anyone recommend any
resources for me?

task hierarchy in web 2/RIA apps

can you all suggest examples showing how designers used distinct controls
for each level in a hierarchy of tasks in web 2/ajax?

for example:
a level 3 task is the highest and can contain several level 2 tasks.
