Thank you to everyone who gave me information about other companies
practice of reimbursement for participants in the medical domain. I
also asked the same question on another mailing list, so here I give
you the short summary of the responses. If someone would like to add
or comment, I still appreciate every information on that!


The FDA states that "it is not uncommon for subjects to be paid for
their participation in research, especially in the early phases of
investigational drug, biologic or device development.

Forced Registration and Dummy Information


Does anyone know if there are any studies/numbers/articles out there
(or based upon your experience) that show how many people use dummy
information if they're forced to register for a site?

For example, I just completed a competitive analysis for home
builders' sites and many of them require you to register before you
look at home plans. In most cases I just entered dummy information,
as I usually do when faced with situations like this, and then went
about my business. Do other people typically do the same?

We do a fair amount of user testing with clinical individuals because we
create health content and applications to access health content for
clinicians...we are able to offer incentives without issue.

Use Case:

End user submits content to a Site
Content is queued up in a web based admin tool
Admin access the queue via the admin tool
Admin takes action on each content item in the queue (e.g. allow, delete)

Hello all

I am looking for Interesting, fun, rich, interactive (anything really)
examples of good online advertising. I am designing a site that
requires featured space (ads to inspirational content) in order to break the
user's normal purchasing habits (in an attempt to increase average order
