Hi,

I just registered for Interaction08... for anybody else who is
attending it would be great to plan some sort of IxDA list meetup ..

Are people staying in the Sheraton mentioned on the website? Anybody
have any other recommendations for a hotel?

Also, I've got to say it....

Paper Prototyping: Hi-Fi & Lo-Hi Together

Hi all.

Apologies if this topic has already been covered.

In a project I am involved with, I am presented with a situation regarding Paper Prototyping.

We are currently overhauling the UI for our products and plan to evaluate the UI concept designs with Paper Prototyping very soon.

The original plan was to develop all the screens with graphical visualisations. However our Graphics designer said that they are unable to draw all of the screens on time for the test. It has been suggested that we replace all the un-drawn screens with wireframes for the test sessions.

how to test GUI requirements

Hi folks,

I was hoping that some of you might have wisdom to share with me on
the issue of testing GUI requirements.

Some background.... One of my clients is a medical device company
making Class III devices, so their formal requirements validation &
verification process (more commonly called testing) is an extremely
significant portion of the overall development cycle. They mainly use
automated testing protocols to test the software, ensuring that it
responds as specified to user & system actions.

MarketShare is a good source of some recent and free statistics
frequently asked for by designers:

Browsers:

Some categories have a geographical filter, and you can get data by
