Thanks!

final project MA Interactive Media

Hi,

Some months ago I posted here how my MA in Interactive Media final project
was being developed. Now that it is done, I would like to present it to you.
Many thanks for the opinions I heard from a few of you! It was very helpful.

*What have you left behind? - story of nomads by nomads

32 notebooks were sent abroad to people in and from different parts of the
world with the question "What have you left behind?". A month later 140
testimonies arrived with stories of people from different cultural
educational and social backgrounds.

IM / Chat guidelines

Hi all,

I have 2 questions for you regarding IM / Chat windows:
- Does anyone know where i can find (and if there exist) standard dimensions
for a IM or chat window for a 1024x768 and 1280x800 resolution?
- Are there any standards for the character limit for the text field based
on pixel width?

Thanks!

What is your design workflow?

I'm having trouble with our design process. It seems like it isn't
working, we are falling behind schedule. What I'd like to know
briefly is:

What is your design workflow? Do you do low-res mockups first, or
start with an existing design? (This is in the context of creating a
new application to fit into an existing suite of apps, so the visual
style is already set)

How long does your design process take? If you had to do say a dozen
screens, would you expect going from nothing to handing it to a
developer to take 2 weeks? 4 weeks?
