Feature prioritization

Hi:

Was reading this article on "The Good Enough Revolution" -
http://www.wired.com/gadgets/miscellaneous/magazine/17-09/ff_goodenough
and this quote stood out to me:

"Even so, it's easy to imagine that feature creep will one day seep
into the Flip. After all, the company recently released models that
record in HD, so why not image stabilization or a bigger LCD—or hey,
how about a touchscreen!

Are you a SXSW Interactive veteran? Heading to 2010?

I'm starting to plan for next March's SXSW but have never been. I'd
love to see who else is planning to attend and if any of the vets
think it's worth going.

Toward a search dominant wayfinding paradigm (worth it?)

Hi all,

For the past several months I have been perseverating on the concept of
creating a search-dominant wayfinding system for my web site: Adobe.com.
Why, you may ask? My thought (and I know Jared, at minimum will disagree
after having just listened to a recent podcast from him on this) is that as
web users we are moving more and more in that direction - toward search as
being a standard, hard-wired, lizard brain reflex when confronted with
moving through the vasty content spaces that are out there.

We're psyched to be working with Core77 on a design competition that
is about taking our Reading Ahead project (user research findings
about the reading experience and associated opportunities -

concepts for possible future products, services, and more. I think
it's really important for our fields to have artifacts, examples,
experiences, etc.

IDSA 09 Miami - IxDA Meetup?

Anyone getting this who is at IDSA the next few days in Miami want to do an
IxDA meetup.
I'm marveling how there is only ONE IxD related presentation and one UCD
related presentation for the entire conference. I think we need to get
together and show #'s or something like that.
