Description: 

This is a FULLTIME position for our partner, Acacia is looking for a qualified BA Human Interface Analysts  Onsite in Cental, IL. Must be able  to perform IDS tasks within the Systems department.  Individual will be working on a variety of efforts that need an IDS resource.

The individual selected for this position will have the responsibilities listed below. 
•Designing, prototyping, and usability testing Web user interface applications across multiple platforms
•Collaborating with project teams throughout the product development process, implementing and integrating user centered design methodology
•Communicating and selling human factors and user interface design principles, and ideas/design solutions to business partners and project teams
•Developing and maintaining corporate user centered design methodologies and techniques (e.g., requirements gathering, contextual inquiry, task scenario development, interactive design, low
and hi-fidelity prototyping, cognitive walk-through, usability evaluation, and customer experience feedback)
•Gathering and analyzing customer data and user requirements, understanding and interpreting user needs and goals into design solutions
•Designing and developing usability test plans, conducting usability tests, and providing recommendations based on test results.
•Evaluating usability test results and applying findings to corporate UI design guidance

Soft Skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Strong organizationals skills and ability to analyze data;  Navigate the organization ; Strong coordination skills.
•Adequate skills in using the email package Microsoft Outlook
•Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (required)
•Excellent customer service orientation
•Ability to learn and apply technical information (required)
•Self motivated

Educational Requirements:
MS degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or Experimental Psychology, with a specialty in computer software user interface design (a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields and 5+ years experience practicing User Centered Design in computer software user interface design will be considered in substitution of the MS degree)Background Check is Required Criminal/Credit/Drug Test
