Client Implementation Designer (French/English Speaking)

Reports To: Director of Design Services

About this Position

Are you passionate about good web design and user experience? Do you love clean, well-structured HTML and CSS. Do you design in code just as easily as others do in Photoshop or Illustrator? Would you like to work on some of the biggest brands in the world and have millions of people interact with your designs each day? Would you like working with a team of other passionate designers? Sounds pretty good, right?

As a designer in our Design Services group you will be responsible for how our products are integrated into our client’s sites. You will be responsible for making our products’ design work seamlessly with our clients’ brands and with providing the end user with the best possible experience. If you love branding and user experience this is the job for you.

Job Requirements

• An online portfolio exhibiting a focus on user-centered design

• Fluent French and English

• A passion for good user experience

• 3+ years visual design experience

• 2 years experience hand-coding CSS/XHTML

• Experience in the art and science of form design (bonus points for mentioning Luke Wroblewski’s “Web Form Design: Filling in the Blanks”)

• Expert knowledge of CSS

• Expert user of Adobe CS

• Ability to produce flawless work in a fast-paced environment

A Day in the Life

Start designing a Ratings and Reviews implementation to match the new site design of one of the world’s largest retailers. Meet with other designers to discuss user experience best practices for our products. Conduct a design review of another designer’s work.
