Fit Associates is a research and design consultancy based in Pittsburgh. Its client for this project, Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands, is a diversified Health and Well-being company, focused on improving people's lives through timely innovations. As a world leader in healthcare, lifestyle and lighting, Philips integrates technologies and design into people-centric solutions, based on fundamental customer insights and the brand promise of "sense and simplicity".

Our project with Philips relates to health and wellness in China. Until NDAs are signed, unfortunately, we can't say much more but...

• It has to do with health and wellness – we'd LOVE to have people who already know and care about this area
• It has to do with China (there will be at least one trip to China as part of the work)
• The deliverables require good concepts, good storytelling, and something tangible 

• Working in a fast-paced, intensely collaborative atmosphere where we will be moving from concept generation to gorgeous mock-ups or animations of selected concepts in about eight weeks
• Leadership role in moving the team forward -- ability to take strategic insights and turn them into concepts and prototypes
• Collaborating in generative workshops with end users
• Developing on-the-fly techniques for testing/validating concepts in the field
• There's a good chance we'll want to mock up an interaction to help executives understand the direction. So the ability to knock out quick Flash (or whatever) is a plus
• This project is not limited to web sites and conventional PC or phone applications, and gives a lot of room to explore different interaction styles, integration of hardware and software, etc. 
• We will be looking to explore low-tech directions as well as high-tech; you're a better match for this work if you're more people-infatuated than tech-infatuated
