Description

The manager will bring knowledge and experience from designing and delivering a customer-centric website. The manager will be comfortable leveraging strategic partners to create capacity and bring on unique skill sets where necessary, while still delivering within the established user experience guidelines. The responsibilities for the position are:

1) Define the online experience strategy and over-arching design to establish the desired state for internet and mobile. Establish user experience guidelines that inform future designs and create a consistent approach to user experience.
2) Ensure execution of information architecture deliverables to improve online experience
3) Manage delivery by external strategic partner to provide capacity and skill sets required to meet business goals

The User Experience leader should have a passion for helping be the best in the industry. He/She will have a strong appreciation of best practices both within financial services and external to financial services since our customers’ expectations are set by various providers with which they interact.

Key Measures:
- Establishment of baseline scores in online user experience; Delivery of significant improvements through internet channel refresh
- Enhance external usability rankings to achieve top quartile performance within three years
- Impact on key business drivers including: online cross-sell, online banking and bill pay adoption, online banking usage, usability, and satisfaction


Skills:
• Experience in designing and delivering a customer-centric website. Demonstrated impact on key customer drivers such as sales, efficiency, usage, and retention.
• Strong leadership skills – able to inspire team with head (defining vision and needs), heart (showing passion), and hands (providing experiential guidance on how to deliver)
• Strong management skills – able to enhance creativity of team while rigorously managing to deliverables. Ability to manage diverse team and skill set.
• Experience developing user experience strategy and guidelines
• Understanding of role of Information Architecture including deliverables, methodology, and best practices
• Experience in leveraging external user experience partners
• 8+ years in user experience or related field
• 3+ years in leadership roles in user experience
