Position Summary

The Manager, Experience Architect, works with the Senior Manager in directing the Experience Architects in the Creative Department. The Manager helps to set goals and measure the success of the group, managing, guiding and mentoring the Experience Architects, enabling them to fulfill Organic methodology and standards.
 
Teaming with departmental peers, the Manager works to ensure that cross-team collaboration, communication and concepts form the core of successful work. Working with non-departmental peers, the manager collaborates on a strategic and conceptual level to grow the business across all accounts.
 
The Manager, Experience Architecture, is expected to provide strategic insights based on sound methods that advance the overall consumer and brand experience. This position seeks to support business objectives and consumer goals through elegant and engaging experiences across multiple channels.
 
Responsibilities
  • Team mentoring, project planning and estimation as well as risk/issue management and resolution
  • Create user experience audits and heuristic evaluations
  • Generate experience concepts and site architecture as well as task/process flows
  • Collaborate with strategic resources to develop user profiles and (test) scenarios
  • Responsible for wireframe design and collaborating with technology on prototypes
  • Present concepts and status to clients
  • Identify tools and techniques that improve existing approaches
 
Experience

  • 5+ yrs overall experience preferred including:
    • 3+ yrs directing Experience Architect contributions and demonstrating significant mentorship towards all Experience Architect contributors.
  • Expert in user-centered design methods and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
  • Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices, kiosks and other non-web projects a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience (digital design, graphic design, advertising).
  • Engaging online portfolio is required for consideration.
