Centre for Affective Solutions for Ambient Living Awareness (CASALA) was established in October 2009 with seed funding under the Enterprise Ireland Applied Research Enhancement (ARE) programme and is based at the Dundalk Institute of Technology the leading third level educational institution in the North East of Ireland. Role Description:
The ideal candidate will be in a position to:
Minimum requirements:
• PhD or a minimum of 5 years research experience in interaction and person-centred
design.
Highly desirable, experience of the following:
• Web development experience
• Graphical User Interface development
• Virtual environments
• Statistical evaluation and experimental design
• Focus groups and working with older people
Salary: €35,000 to €45,000 p.a. including provision for pension. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Term: Two year contract with possible two-year extension - subject to performance.
