iQ Content is a user experience design consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland. We help smart organisations design and build websites and web applications that are better for their users and better for their businesses. We have an opportunity for an experienced usability professional to join our growing consulting team.

About the job

This role requires expert knowledge of user centred design combined with the ability to build and lead a team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear ability to think commercially and to drive the definition and refinement of our services. Professionally, the role requires expertise in:

  • User research methods
  • Usability evaluation and usability testing methods
  • Interaction design
  • Information architecture
  • Providing training to clients and staff as well as leading project workshops

You will also be comfortable working alongside a team of content experts , web analytics experts and developers. As this is a management role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Recruiting new members of your team.
  • Mentoring team members, review their career progress and plan their professional development.
  • Defining and refining the company’s UX research and design services, and collaborating to integrate these with our other services.

You will also be expected to become an active contributor to the company blog and our participation in conferences and other industry events.

Applicants must be willing to move to Dublin, Ireland and must already be eligible to work in the EU.
