RESPONSIBILITIES:

An exciting opportunity to work alongside and assist the current design team with the following:

·         Creating and developing innovative UI/UX design solutions

·         Gather product requirements

·         Assist in conducting user study and testing

·         Documenting UI guidelines and specifications

·         Concentration area will also be assigned based on individual’s objectives and talents and can include: interaction, prototyping, usability, or research

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Current enrollment at a University/College with advanced coursework in a Bachelor’s Degree program, such as Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Usability and/or User Interface Design, or related field.

·         Firm grasp of interaction design principles and UI patterns/conventions

·         Understanding of visual design principles (typography, iconography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy)

·         Understanding of User Centered Design methods and processes

·         Understanding of project management

·         Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

·         Experience with HTML, CSS, Microsoft Expression Blend, and Axure would be a big plus

·         Experience with mobile device or consumer electronic products desired
