Description: 

My client is looking for a part-time UE Designer to help build their ecommerce site. 15-25 hours a week, for 15 months. Ideally have some experience with B2C online ecommerce.

  • producing a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required
  • decide on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web
  • ensuring material on the website is accessible to all groups including those with disabilities
  • testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions
  • fixing errors
  • writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Action Script, .Net, Flash, or using code-generating programs such as Dreamweaver and Visual Studio
  • Excellent visual/graphic design and page production capability (i.e., advanced photoshop)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
