The User Experience Analyst will work as a member of the interactive innovation team to ensure that our web sites and applications offer best in class user experiences. This individual will play a key role in developing new products and web sites and content for the American Greetings  brands, will assist in the management of a variety of user research initiatives, and will define and analyze metrics that provide insight into user behavior and the impact of design changes. Ease of use is a core part of the digital photography strategy and the skills and experience that the person in this role brings to their work will have a direct impact on our success.


# 2-5 years professional experience with web sites and applications. A background in user centered design, usability, and/or information architecture is ideal, but a passion for great user experiences and a desire and willingness to learn is most important.
# Detail-oriented, with an ability to develop elegant solutions to complex problems that span technology, business strategy, and user needs. Able to build structure out of ambiguity and abstraction.
# Have a solid grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies.
# Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to make sound recommendations and decisions based on observed user behavior and prior experience.
# Project lifecycle experience with web application implementations
# Strong interaction and facilitation skills.
# The ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment
# Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Some prototyping experience with tools like Visio and Axure is desired. Comfortable learning and using new software and technologies.
# Excellent written and verbal communication skills
# Self-directed with effective time management skills
# Interest in and commitment to ongoing education in a rapidly evolving field.
# Occasional travel (less than 20%) may be required.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
