Job Description:
Cisco is looking for a Visual Designer to join a new project team focused on web-based collaboration and social networking. In this position you will work closely with interaction designers, user researchers, usability engineers, product managers, and engineers to define the user experience and visual design of Cisco’s products.

Responsibilities include:
* Define visual design principles and language for collaboration, social networking, communication, voice, and video products
* Identify visual user interface requirements and define design approach
* Create conceptual design and suggest product direction based on field research and visual requirements
* Create guidelines and design language for communications products that express the Cisco brand
* Develop visual design prototypes ranging from comps to interactive mock-ups
* Develop visual interface specifications
* Work with user researchers to design and observe field/usability studies
* Work with interaction designers to integrate visual and interaction design
* Work closely with engineers to deliver the final product
* Facilitate project communication across a multidisciplinary team through all phases of projects

Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience designing user interfaces for applications
* Bachelors or Master's degree in Graphics Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, Fine Art or related field
* Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across projects
* Work with interaction designers to integrate visual and interaction design
* Work closely with engineers to deliver the final product
* Facilitate project communication across a multidisciplinary team through all phases of projects
