Joe Davies, the CTO of White Horse, will present a redux of a presentation he did at WebVisions about mobile and location:

" There is a world—no, a universe—of data available to mobile devices that can be combined with location data to generate a much more engaging and personalized mobile   experience. Who’s using it? How can you? Get creative!! This presentation will explore how latitude and longitude can be combined with time of day, sunrise/sunset calculations, weather reports, phases of the moon, alignment of the planets, biorythmic patterns, proximity to family and friends, etc… in order to generate meaningful “lifestyle” applications and immersive gaming experiences--all with novel visualizations and a sense of humor."

NOTE: Alcohol is no longer allowed at the IxDA events that take place at ISITE Design (until such time as IxDA gets insurance and a server...). If you'd like to bring other snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to this no-host event, please feel free.
