This workshop is an introduction to how teams can use the ‘Design Studio method’ to explore opportunities and innovate products in a more transparent manner.
The early stages of product innovation can crucially influence the success and direction of any product. Yet these stages tend to be fuzzy, highly politicized, and under-documented. The Design Studio method helps cross-functional teams to focus on how ideas and solutions map back to the problem space, revealing tacit requirements, while mitigating the risk of hidden agendas.
This workshop is based on three articles Will Evans published in UXMag, as well as the experience of running hundreds of design studios in Agile, Lean, and Agency environments.
