IxDA NYC Presents: 6 Ways Ecosystems have Changed Our Roles and the Way We Work
In a
mobile, networked world changes in behavior and expectations have
completely disrupted how companies do business. The smart companies no
longer just "sell product" --- they build ecosystems of genuine value,
comprised of dynamic, interconnected touch points that stoke customer
interests and support their needs. Customer experience becomes an
essential business strategy, marketing evolves past persuasion into
value, digital technology and data become more essential and more
complex. In the midst of this shift, where lagging businesses struggle
to follow suit, our role as UX professionals is evolving and forcing us
to work differently.
Drawing
from experience with multi-channel ecosystems at R/GA, this
presentation will explore six ways in which this emerging shift is
changing our roles and the way we work. From building strategies to how
we collaborate and manage complexity, her hope is that you’ll walk away
from this presentation armed with some practical insight that will help
your team prepare for the advent of these challenges.
