Breakfast Meetup at Grumpy's Cafe

Hi all,

I'm having some technical difficulties posting a proper 'Event' for this Friday's breakfast meetup, so I'm also posting this in the discussion area.

We're meeting at Grumpy's Cafe in Cleveland (Tremont) this Friday, August 30th at 7am. Join us for casual conversation with some great people! Anyone is welcome to join, whether you're an interaction pro, or just wanting to learn more.

UPDATE: It appears the Carnegie Kitchen is closed, so we will meet at Grumpy's Cafe instead. Spread the word! Thanks!

More information on the profession

Hello Everyone,

I'm a 2nd year Graduate student for Kent State University currently earning my masters for Architecture and Urban Design. I'm very much interested in the Interaction Design field and the possibilites of crossdisciplinary projects between the two professions. I'm wondering who I could personally talk to for more information about the profession? I currently go to school in the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) building in downtown Cleveland around Euclide and 14th.

Midwest UX Conference

I think everybody in the IxDA Columbus group already knows about this - and is actively making it happen - but just in case someone new joins. And for folks in the region (Cleveland, Cincy).

April 9-10 is the big event - Midwest UX conference.

See you there!
