The upcoming Convivio Interaction Design Summer School session will
be held Aug 14 - 25, 2006 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Intensive, short-duration summer schools are a popular educational
model in various parts of the world, particularly in the User
Experience field. I have participated with Convivio in several
capacities (participant, atelier leader, lecturer) during the past
few years. And, I am really excited about the work they've done to
create intercultural, interdisciplinary teams and embed them in a
foreign culture with the express purpose of learning and practicing
Interaction Design and Research methods.
These sessions are ideal for new practitioners in the Experience
Design field as well as Masters and PhD students as from any of the
--Traditional User Experience fields (HCI, Interaction Design, ID,
Graphics/Visual Communication Design, Anthropology, Sociology,
--Technical fields such as engineering and computer science
Applications are due June 10, 2006. Please share with your friends,
