Hi all,
Just curious if you could help me find some examples of interactive maps.
Google mash ups are nice but I'm thinking more of interactive maps created
in Flash.
Particularly anything with a lot of layered interaction. I.e. you point to a
specific city and a layered event occurs etc.
Thanks so much!
Adrian

Hello Adrian,
Here are a few examples for you:
Election 2005: BBC News

Disaster in Asia: CBC.ca
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/asia_earthquake/cbcairgid/cbcnews_dia.html
Iraq War Coalition Fatalities (not as interactive but interesting):
http://www.obleek.com/iraq/
Halifax Explosion: Collision Timeline (this one might be a stretch but the different views are good):

Cheers,
Antonia
