for Microsoft Redmond, WA Branded Entertainment Team :

Come join one of the most exciting user experience teams at Microsoft -
As a User Experience Design Lead on the Branded Entertainment and
Experience Team you will be responsible for creating ground-breaking
interactive experiences for MSN and Windows Live. You will participate
in creative group brainstorming, conceptualization, and development of
industry-leading entertainment experiences in partnership with big
brands.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

* Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly
communicate concepts and ideas to both internal and external clients

* Ability to take concepts and ideas and turn them into
interactive prototypes using Flash, After Effects and other appropriate
industry tools

* Excellent multi-tasking skills - strong ability to work
independently and manage multiple projects

* Effectiveness at cross-team collaboration - including
working with product and product development teams

The ideal candidate is highly creative and adaptive, as well as highly
disciplined. A combination of creativity and design passion and skill,
with absolute drive to deliver according to plan and on time are
critical. The candidate must have a passion for UI and end-to-end user
experience and possess the ability to work and problem solve
independently and in groups. Candidate must be proficient in Action
Scripting, and Flash optimization, able to implement dynamic Flash
solutions, and familiar with XML. Candidate must exhibit ability to turn
around quality work under aggressive deadlines and pay high attention to
detail, as well as influence, drive, and adhere to established design
standards, within the design team and to external team partners.

Candidates need to have proven experience in interaction design and must
be able to present an exceptional portfolio highlighting your superior
interactive and product design and development skills. Portfolio must
also illustrate your UI skills, and document a history of your passion
to create and design through innovative and high caliber examples.
Online portfolio preferred. Portfolio review required.

Additional qualifications include: BA or BFA in a design related field
or equivalent industry experience. Exceptional Photoshop skills
required.
