Usable Products Company is a boutique usability research and design agency
in New York City. We focus on mobile phones and convergent technologies,
and also do desktop web research and design. We are hiring a
programmer/analyst intern to help automate our business processes and to
establish leadership in mobile phone-based prototype deployment.

The internship is paid modestly and requires applicants to be already
resident in the New York City area.

The internship entails apprenticing with existing staff to learn the
business of usability consulting, and contributing in every way possible.
Every day will be a learning experience.

Skills sought:
- Programming ability based on computer science education, though not
necessarily a CS degree
- SPSS desired
- SQL desired
- Mobile experience desired

For the successful intern, we will teach the following additional skills:
- Usability moderation
- Information architecture design

Maximum period: 90 days, after which conversion to full time is possible.

- Already living within commuting distance of New York City (no relocation
assistance is available)
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Legal-to-work in the US--already have social security number, etc.

Please send resumes and cover letters to this email. Do note that this
email address is protected by a spam white list, so please authorize
yourself via the response email. Thank you for your consideration.
