<<I've only read The Persona Lifecycle, which was a
major disappointment. In fact, it's one of the most disappointing
books on my shelf (out of around 200+).>>
I read this book while attempting my first persona for a research project at SAS Institute. I found it fairly helpful in terms of learning about personas, but not terribly helpful in actually creating them. The thing that bothered me was the choice to use kids as the personas that they were developing throughout the book- by using kids it was harder to envision what an adult persona in the context of their work should look like and how the process might be different.
