Software Design lead at Apple (was Re: iPhone Keynote)
This brings up an interesting question to me. Does Ive have a virtual
counterpart?
Who is the lead designer on the software side of things?

As far as I understand the visual design is part of Ive's team and is
under his lead. Ive's team is small and broadly skilled, but they
tapped resources across Apple for the iPhone as reported a few places
with out the people knowing what they were contributing to.
All the best,
Thomas
