Our client is the World's largest interactive agency and is widely
recognized as an employer of choice.

We are currently looking for Freelance User Researchers in the Chicago
office.

A market leading $ hourly rate is available for the right candidates.

The Freelance User Researcher is responsible for understanding target
audiences' needs and other motivating factors that drive behavior, and
developing key insights and frameworks to help clients and design teams
respond to the work. He or she helps translate insights into concepts for
compelling interactions and experiences. The Freelance User Researcher
develops POVs around specific user groups and in specific industries based
on ongoing research work. He or she consults to project teams on user
insights and behaviors relative to their projects.

• Understanding target audiences' needs and other motivating factors that

• Helping to translate insights into concepts for compelling interactions
and experiences
• Developing POVs around specific user groups and in specific industries
based on ongoing research work
• Consulting to project teams on user insights and behaviors relative to
their projects

*Required Qualifications & Experience:*

* *

Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction, product
design, interaction design, anthropology, human factors, or equivalent
experience
• 5+ years experience developing interactive products
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following research methods:
ethnographic research, usability testing, participatory design, focus
groups, surveys, expert evaluation, or web data analytics ( e.g., conversion
analysis)
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
• Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
• Experience working with design teams to translate user research into
design decisions
• Willingness to travel
