Front-End Developer

As a member of the Arena Solutions marketing team, the Front-End
Developer will report to the marketing team and be primarily
responsible for technical execution for all online marketing
collateral, including the corporate web site and email marketing.
This is a production heavy job, which will entail the production of
new electronic communication (HTML emails, landing pages, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail- and process-
oriented, and able to handle multiple projects easily. The Front-End
Developer will be confident in working independently to manage
production and processes, collaborate on requirements gathering, and
assist in the evaluation of new technologies as appropriate. The
candidate should be eager to work with a high-performance team in a
fast-moving agency-like environment. A background or interest in
design is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong hand-coded HTML and CSS skills
Well versed in modern, semantic markup
Experience developing for cross-browser compatibility (including IE,
Mozilla/Firefox, Opera, and Safari)
Knowledge of Javascript a plus
Basic graphic production with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and
Image Ready
Working knowledge of current usability standards and best user
experience practices
Ability to participate in technical requirements gathering and
documentation processes
Macromedia Flash production skills a plus
2-4 years experience in web design and development
Ability to review and effectively critique work for quality and
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to execute on time, all the time
Bachelor’s Degree
