We are currently searching for an Information Architect.

Responsibilities
· Creates information architecture deliverables for Web sites as well as other online applications

· Creates and revises information architecture documents including, but not limited to site maps, mental models, concept diagrams, flow charts, personas, user scenarios, schematics or wire frames, and functional requirements

· Plans and coordinates user research and analysis (including contextual inquiries, field studies, and surveys)

· Plans and conducts business research and analysis (including immediate clients and key business stakeholders)

· Writes and presents new business proposals as assigned

· Leads and participates in group brainstorming sessions

· Designs and conducts usability or heuristic evaluations

· Performs competitive site analysis

· Develops product prototypes for usability testing and proof-of-concept

· Determines appropriate methodologies, collects data, summarizes findings, and reports results to project teams and clients

· Takes a primary role in evolving the methodologies and processes used to develop Web sites, and is expected to be an advocate for User Centered Design

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (degree of coursework in the following is a plus: human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, architecture, instructional design, library or information science)

· A minimum of 2 years experience working in an Internet consulting environment

· A minimum of 2 years experience working as an Information Architect

· Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including speaking and presentation skills

· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Familiarity with Web site analytics

Computer programs
· Expertise with Visio and MS Office and Visio is requried

· Strong knowledge of Web technologies, content management systems, and databases

· Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
