interviewing candidates for a contract Interactive Project Manager position in our clients <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Seattle office. As an Interactive Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of our client's web based projects. Key responsibilities included developing statement of work documents, managing change management, scheduling, budgeting, preparing for weekly staffing meetings, and authoring requirement definition documents. This is an Interactive Project Manager position and will require you to communicate across several different disciplines: User Experience, front and back end programmers, creative designers and copy writers as well as client facing account supervisors. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Required skills include being a problem solver, working with little supervision, multi-tasking, ability to provide leadership, being a quick learner, and possessing a positive 'can do' attitude. You must be a proactive individual who is process oriented, and possesses a high degree of diplomacy. Your prior project experience should include managing both large and small projects ($2,000 to $200,000). Please describe a number of project examples that demonstrate what steps you see as essential to planning an online project, what tools you have used, and how you interact with team members.

Role Description:

* Communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and writing

* Build and motivate internal teams that are appropriate to project objectives

* Own the overall solution and delivery schedule

* Demonstrate ability to link creative vision to reality

* Ensure all infrastructure issues are handled to support the project

* Manage change effectively and calmly in a hectic environment

* Oversee and ensure quality delivery

* Scope and manage online/interactive projects of different sizes

* Develop budgets and report on project margin using internal tools

* Prepare and present status reports

* Accurately assess risks

* Assist client partners in proposal writing

Qualifications and Experience:

* A BA or BS degree or equivalent related experience

* Demonstrate at least 3-5 years of experience in an agency or consulting environment
