Intuit is searching for a leader in adult education to help grow and
inspire our customer training organization. We are looking for a strong
leader in adult learning who can contribute to the strategic long-term
vision of training over 500,000 small-business customers and
accountants. The Senior L&D Manager reports to the group manager of the
Accountant Training Network and interacts closely with all members of
the accountant training team, as well as leaders other business groups,
to meet these goals. Primary responsibilities include:
*Creating the educational experience for accountant customer training
programs, including leading our educational program management team
through the ADDDE process to develop comprehensive curriculum for our
new and existing customers.
*Applying expertise in adult learning methodologies, instructional
design, eLearning platforms and customer education best-practices to
design training programs that are innovative and compelling, while
meeting the needs of Intuit and it's customers, and consulting across
the company on these areas, as needed.
*Providing on-going coaching and inspirational leadership to the team of
program managers that executes the company strategy for customer
education while motivating our employees to be successful
*Overseeing day-to-day operations of the educational components of the
current $4M training business, including designing and executing on
*Partnering with other business units to determine training needs based
on Intuit's business priorities, and making recommendations on solutions
and programs to upper management.
*Leading research initiatives to better understand customer training
needs, program successes, training ROI, and the impact of educating
customers against Intuit's overall shareholder and customer metrics.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
*Capability to manage the needs of our growing training business while
remaining attentive to delivering on the needs of key stakeholders
*Ability to solve tough problems in innovative ways, while scanning the
environment for opportunities and fostering creativity and innovation
throughout the organization.
*Experience creating and utilizing operating mechanisms and providing
the tools and other resources necessary to execute on priorities and
build repeatable, sustainable processes that support operational
*Interest and passion around developing others, including providing
appropriate feedback and building a strong team.
*Proven and successful track record across multiple training programs,
products and/or organizations, with a minimum of 4-6 years management
*Strong multi-tasking skills are required along with the ability to
effectively and positively work with cross-functional teams.
*Excellent collaborative problem solving skills, strategic thinking and
*BA/BS from a four-year college or university or equivalent work
experience. Masters degree a plus.
