Media visibility of our craft (Was: Salary Survey?)

Our profession isn't in the list even in 2005. That's just sad. We
need more visibility for this craft in our sister accociations as
well as in the media.

Media, why?

Because that's where the boss three steps above you learns why your
team is important for the success of the company.

During the iPhone hype and aftermath, the media mostly circled around
industrial design and visual design. But those didn't make the phone
revolutionary, just cool. Interaction (behavior) design made it
revolutionary, something completely different from LG Prada or any
Nokia. And that's what most journalists have yet to understand.

Design for digital age = form AND behavior, not just form
