IxDA NYC Design Studio Event Recap
Hi IxDers,
This is a delayed recap. On October 25th we hosted a new kind of event in
NYC in a design studio format rather than our normal presentation style. The
event was a success and we wanted to share with you in case you want to do
something similar in your area.
------------------------------------------------------------
A short recap of the event:
------------------------------------------------------------
A group of 30 designers came together one night and worked together for 3
hours in a studio setting. The first hour we spent 1 hour designing in
groups of 3 and spent the rest of the night in a crit led by Josh Seiden,
Design Manager at Liquidnet and Ted Booth, Interaction Design Director at
Smart Design. The designers were energetic and brought forward great
solutions in a very short time. The crit was lively and a lot of fun. We all
learned a lot from each other and especially from Ted and Josh.
Since the ixda site does not yet have capability for posting of pictures, I
had the write up here:

Thank you!
