Job: Information Architect / Interaction Designer, New York City, Ann Taylor, Inc., 6-Month Contract

Ann Taylor is looking for a lead usability designer to work on the
redesign of the application used to create product specification
packages. The product specification package contains the detailed
instructions for how to manufacture Ann Taylor designed product. The
content consists of a rich mixture of graphics, tables, and text.
Various roles must be supported, including functionality for fashion
designers, fit technicians, and external suppliers. The platform will be
.NET and might include both WinForms and Web-based UI's.
Scheduled to begin in Feb 2008, the requirements and design phase will
last for approximately six months in duration. There is a possible
opportunity for ongoing work on a related project.
The project team will be centered in New York City, but the work might
include some travel to the Far East.
