--------------------

This Wednesday (that's the day after tomorrow) SpireMedia's Simon Hill will
discuss how assumptions and metaphors from the world of marketing design
don't always work when designing web applications. Simon's thoughts may
seem like "motherhood" to some, and heresy to others.

So check it out... see where you weigh in. Last time we had very lively
discussion of design process with Josh Zapin from Texturemedia -- lots of
good ideas and stimulating metaphors came out of that talk. Come be part of
meeting #2. Same place, same time.

WHEN: 6:00 PM networking, 6:20 PM speaker, 7:00 PM more discussion

WHERE: Panera Bread in Capitol Hill, corner of Grant Street and East 13th
Avenue. Free parking on the street after 6 PM.

TOPIC: "How Interaction Design Fits into Web Business R&D" – informal
discussion

SPEAKER: Simon Hill, Director of Web Strategy & User eXperience at
SpireMedia. And you – audience participation is encouraged.

COST: Meeting is free, but buy dinner, if you like.
