FYI. This is an immediate opening (this week!) to work
with some colleagues of mine. The project runs into
Jan, or perhaps Feb.
They need an Interaction Designer to take their field
research (a nice job of contextual inquiry) and move
forward to detailed wireframes. The product (service?
system?)is a portion of a process-oriented web site for
a pharma client.
Carbon is seeking an Interaction Designer to join
Carbon's UI Team on a project for a large client. This
person will be focused on developing innovative future
looking solutions that will enhance the experience of
the products we develop for the pharmaceutical
industry. Work will include creating solutions to
overcome current customer pain points with respect to
an existing user interface.
This designer will be responsible for working
effectively with the individual product teams and with
our own cross functional team which includes User
Researchers, Visual Designers and Technical Writers.
A Senior Interaction Designer that has demonstrated the
initiative and creativity needed to fashion and drive a
design vision across multiple products. Requires a
Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction, Product
Design, Graphic Design or related field, (or
equivalent,) and a minimum of 3 years experience
designing software interfaces. Experience in the
Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
A passion for elegant design and for transforming the
way products work is required. The designer must have
experience in creating mockups, storyboards, UI
specifications, flowcharts, wire-frames, and
interactive prototypes. Thorough knowledge of the
Windows operating systems is required.
Must be a natural diplomat with strong communication,
coordination and scheduling skills and be willing to
prove themselves within a company of talented
individuals. Must have a natural interest in technology
with the ability to grasp and distill highly complex
issues. Attention to detail and a good eye for
aesthetics are required.
Online portfolio or samples of previous work must be
included in your resume or cover letter to be
considered for this position.
Temporary (hotel accommodation) and travel costs may be
provided for this position, and all work will be done
in New York City, NY.
For immediate consideration, please forward your
resume, salary requirements and online
portfolio/samples to: HR at carboncg.com.
