Hello friends-

For our July event we're turning the tables and looking to you, our
San Francisco community, to supply the content. The event is called
VizFarm, and it will feature data visualizations in short 5 minute
bursts from our community. What have you been up to lately? Let us
take a look!

[IxDA-SF presents] VizFarm: CALL FOR PROPOSALS

As people and businesses increasingly need to understand and evaluate
vast amounts of information, information visualization has moved from
a research topic to a mainstream technique. It’s now an interaction
designer’s job to express all manner of complex information through
graphics, animations and interactive interfaces.

This July, IxDA-SF presents VizFarm, where you can have the
opportunity to share your information visualization work with the
local interaction design community. IxDA-SF will be hosting an evening
of 5-minute presentations from local designers, showing off the best
examples of information visualization in practice.

Are you doing amazing, awe-inspiring information visualization work?
Interested in giving a short presentation about the project, your
process and the resulting work? We want to hear from you! Please email
your proposal to sf-local at ixda.org describing the project, type of
visualization work you performed and examples if possible.

The event will be happening one evening on the week of the 7/28
(depending on venue availability). Exact date and location info to come.

We're looking forward to a great event!
