Hi, I was wondering if you could suggets a list of well designed site for
Broadband providers. The most important thing in such a site should be to
help the visitor to understand between the tons of offers which the most of
the time are explained in a very tecnhical way.
thanks
Angelo

Angelo:

Before providing a list of sites or designs - what key questions do
you think people would have of broadband providers before arriving at
their home page?

What are the types of things they would want to be able to do through
the web site? (before visiting a shop?)

Dan

Obviously the main focus is centered in the following question:
"How much I'm gonna to pay per month and what kind of service level i would
be granted?"
This is centanly the most obvious question but as a marketing manager how
you will push (upsell) other services maintaining clarity of the offer?
The people would be able to subscribe the offer online.
Cheers

Here are a few from Hong Kong and Australia:

http://www.i-cable.com/
http://www.netvigator.com/mega/index_eng.htm
http://www.optus.com.au/home/index.html
http://www.bigpond.com/homepage/

Be interesting to do a quick content analysis on their home pages and
see if its providing the links to answer the questions customers may
have prior to visiting.

We have seen a trend in Hong Kong as broadband providers also try and
become content providers and the 2 worlds are not always playing
nicely together (as the content obscures the service offerings)

rgds,
Dan
