JOB: UX/UI Designer (mobile technologies) - Redmond, WA - Recruiter - Contract
Our client, the "largest software company in the world" needs a User
Experience Designer who likes some variety in their work.
The projects include three main areas:
1) UI design for a mobile communicator client
2) Hardware device #1 - UX for handset that plugs into your PC so you
can talk over VOIP on your computer
3) Hardware device #2 - UX for handset that plugs into your
wall/network. Phone will display your buddy list which you can use for
calling friends.
For the first few months, you will help manage vendor teams producing
visuals to ensure that product is matching vision and specs. After
those projects wrap, the UI/UX design for the Mobile clients will start.
This position offers an opportunity to wear a few slightly different
hats and keep things fresh and exciting while you continue to build on
your career in mobile design.
Your background should include the following:
User Experience Design with great samples
User Interface Design (no flashy visuals required)
Nice to have:
Experience with mobile product design would be great!
Visual design experience
Management or leadership experience
