I am interested in finding out more about Smart Client web apps using .NET
Does anyone know of any good resources for designers on the subject?
Everything I find is oriented towards developers. A client of mine wants to
repurpose their current HMTL app in .NET and I need a good understanding of
the model and the behaviors I should expect.

thx,
Anastasia

hey!

well, actually - at my organization we use a combination of a client and a
server side application where we currently need to install the application
both on the client's machine and the server - now this has a couple of
issues - one if the most growling of them is the cross version compatibility
... both the client and the server needs to run the same version or else
they clash and don't respond to each other - we are set for an iterative
change and moving from a application frame work to a browser based framework
! mostly html and xml ...

i would like to know if there are issues that i must anticipate before hand;
and also if anybody knows of any kind of literature written on this topic
please do share it with me ...

- Jerry
