Sr. Information Architect

Summary:

Sr. Information Architect who works to translate business/marketing/user requirements and practices into functional requirements for large, data-rich, web-based applications, service products and role based tools. You will use your IA disciplines including UI design, Usability testing and content strategy to create user experiences that integrate into our customer’s work styles and industry philosophy and be equally savvy within business analysis and marketing strategy.

MUST HAVES:

-BA/BS Degree

-7+ years of UML(unified modeling language) experience a must

-An understanding of how UI designs interacts with backend data

-Extensive experience with site map, user flow diagrams and schematic development, usability testing

-Experience conducting and/or observing user research and translating user research into design decision/revisions

-Strong knowledge of IA tools, specifically: Axure, Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, Javacript, CSS

-Strong knowledge of Search tools (FAST)

- Aligning content and architecture with SEO strategy

-50% New York / 50% Hightstown

Responsibilities:

-Translates business rules for a Web site into functional Web site architecture. Understands user profiles and creates appropriate navigation for a Web site's audience.

-Works closely with a multidisciplinary team of strategists, visual designers and technologists.

-Bridges the development between a site's visual design and functional requirements.
