Come join STL IxDA Face to Face as we celebrate World Usability Day
this Thursday, 11/13, in the upstairs bar at Brennan's in the Central
West End. (Google Map
The theme for this year's World Usability
Day is transportation, so we have a challenge: Reach Brennan's using
only public transportation! This is completely optional since, ahem,
the STL public transportation may not support your goal of arriving at
your destination quickly and easily. :)

But, if you choose to accept this mission we ask you to do a few things:

Take notes of costs, schedule, route, mode(s) and observations
Take pictures of anything noteworthy, a confusing sign or a disturbing
Observe the complete experience - sights, sounds, smells (!),
cognitive load, etc.
If you have a twitter account, use the hash code #wud_stl so we can
track your tweets.

When you arrive at Brennan's be prepared to share with the group your
experience, and if you choose not to use public transportation please
share why you didn't. If you have any questions please contact either
Nathan Verrill <nathanverrill at gmail.com> or Brad Nunnally<bnunnally at gmail.com>

We'll have prizes for most convoluted route, worst experience, and
most modes of transport used. There will also be a special prize if
you arrive on a beast of burden.

Cheers & see you there!
