Although I am not entirely sure what you mean with "Web site workflows" I am guessing you will find some examples in my IA Summit presentation about "StUX" (Standards for User Experience) where I describe how the activities of IAs (and UX practitioners in general) were integrated in the web-application development process at EzGov. Later in the presentation I show examples of how other companies documented their design processes; those may be useful too.
I had a conversation through email about this. He was asking
specifically what's the the UX process within product definition,
and how it fits into the general SDLC. I sent him a PDF that outlines
some of the steps you can take through it (when you do personas,
wireframes, use cases), and when usability professionals are supposed
to review development work.
I have a whole stack of these in a zip file that Karen McGrane (who is
also on this list) sent me when this was last discussion. Several are
already on Luke's site.

This blog article introduces the presentation:

Slideshare has the slides:

and I wrote a short article about it for the ASIS&T bulletin:

I hope this helps,
Peter

Here's a useful range of diagrams about user experience practice and
theory, compiled by Luke Wroblewski.

For IA specific, here's a poster illustrating the stages of IA
process (and comparing to dating relationship):

I'm happy to pass them on if Karen is okay by it.
