looking for a junior- to mid-level interaction designer for a full-time,
1 month web application design contract starting ASAP. This person would
report to the Sr. Designer while maintaining project ownership.
-Lead a usability-focused redesign of the existing web interface to a
mobile asset tracking tool
-Work collaboratively with a developer and a graphic designer to ensure
technical feasibility and design elegance
-Define use cases and user groups
-Provide complete documentation for interface development: site map,
task flows, page-level wireframes
- 2+ years designing interactive experiences, including information
architecture, user interface, and information design; or a degree from
an undergraduate or graduate human factors program with available
portfolio of course projects
- solid understanding of UCD principles and ability to provide rationale
for design decisions
- proactive communication skills and collaborative working style
- ability to manage project schedule
- avid interest in mobile technology
Portfolio of documentation and site samples a must.
Experience in mobile technology a plus.
